This is the GC floor where passed resolutions will be posted and pending resolutions are debated on and then voted on and if passed they will be added to the Passed Resolutions section and all nations within the GC must follow or be expelled from the GC after a ruling by the Court of Justice.  

 

GC Advisory Committee- Where nations of the GC can submit GC Resolutions
Chairman: The position that is up for election, oversees all GCR submissions.  

Vice-Chair: Approves or denies embassy requests

Sr.Member: Is in charge of mass TGs to the region for annoucements.

Major Chair: Handles all requests for polls and voting within the region.

First Chair: Handles all Advisory Committee meetings.

GC General Council Commend/Condemn Committee- This 9 member Committee views Commend/Condemn Resolutions posted to the GC. They're chosen by the Chairman of the Advisory Committee and confirmed by the Court of Justice.

Submission Rules of Compliance

1. No Resolution can affect how political simulation works(Meta-gaming)

2. Resolutions must stay on topic of the chosen category 

3. Resolutions about another nation only affect member nations of the GC 

4. GC Resolutions can just be to set up committees and they can be staffed with gnomes(fictional people) or other nation's reps(must have permission)

5. GC Resolutions can add more categories, but only one at a time 

6. Submitted Resolutions can't interfere with a Passed Resolution of the same or a different category.

7. A resolution can set up a peacekeeping force only and said force can't be used for war.

8.Nation's GC Reps you have favor with must vote for resolutions you have authored, sponsored or are a signatory on. If you cash in that favor though GC Reps can only owe three favors per GC Reps

9. The nation must be a member of the GC to keep their resolution on the voting floor, so that means if a nation joins and submits a resolution and leaves the resolution will be pulled from the voting floor. 

10. Amendments are not to change one word they can only add and remove sections, if you have made a grammatical error then message Devil_Diamond_Games on Discord, and let him know that you want to fix an error in your GC Resolution please include the GCResolution#__  as well as the title to expedite the request.

The General Council,
Reminding all nations of the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which recognizes the inherent dignity, equality and inalienable rights of all global citizens, [use commas to separate preambulatory clauses]

Reaffirming its Resolution 33/1996 of 25 July 1996, which encourages Governments to work with GC bodies aimed at improving the coordination and effectiveness of humanitarian assistance,

Noting with satisfaction the past efforts of various relevant GC bodies and nongovernmental organizations,

Stressing the fact that the General Council faces significant financial obstacles and is in need of reform, particularly in the humanitarian realm,

  1. Encourages all relevant agencies of the New Earth Authority to collaborate more closely with countries at the grassroots level to enhance the carrying out of relief efforts; [use semicolons to separate operative clauses]
  2. Urges member states to comply with the goals of the GC Department of Humanitarian Affairs to streamline efforts of humanitarian aid;
  3. Requests that all nations develop rapid deployment forces to better enhance the coordination of relief efforts of humanitarian assistance in complex emergencies;
  4. Calls for the development of a General Council Trust Fund that encourages voluntary donations from the private transnational sector to aid in funding the implementation of rapid deployment forces;
  5. Stresses the continuing need for impartial and objective information on the political, economic and social situations and events of all countries;
  6. Calls upon states to respond quickly and generously to consolidated appeals for humanitarian assistance; and
  7.  Requests the expansion of preventive actions and assurance of post-conflict assistance through reconstruction and development. [end resolutions with a period]
